When he was a singer back in the mid 80s he was heartstopping. I was 15 and smitten....Once he dedicated a song to me from the stage because I'd written him a nice letter and I nearly passed out. Oh the Higsons were magical.

Oh yes, i've always quite liked him. Missed him on the telly last night though.

He was the lead singer of The Higsons. They were an amazing band and absolutely brilliant live. Looking back now it was 1980- 1984 when they were at their peak I was always going up to London to see them. My BFF of the time and I even interviewed them for our fanzine (God I feel so old!)The best of times!
