Bonfire night is over. It's nearly Christmas!

It's only seven weeks away
all the shops will be full of decorations come next week

There have been xmas songs for ages in some of the shops.
It's not something that bothers me tbh.
So my opinion is YABU!

I started my present wrapping today. Normally I'd be getting the tree down from the loft by now but since my STUPID ARSING SOLICITORS can't sort out the house purchase - got no idea which chuffing house it's going up in.

One year our local Asda had trees out on 1st September with a very apologetic sign saying "we've not gone nuts - we're testing out ideas for our displays this year - they'll be gone by the end of the week"

The street decorations went up in our village 2 days ago . I used to LOVE Christmas but all this overkill is really cheesing me off .

Pre-Christmas starts 4 weeks before Christmas day (the 4 Advent Sundays, if you want)

YABU, after bonfire night, Christmas is well and truely coming! It's only 7 weeks away!

YABU. They are a business. Trees etc in November is perfectly reasonable. It's only a few weeks away now.

I must admit though. I wait until I've seen five houses locally with their decorations up and then I put my window lights up. I LOVE Christmas lights during the dark nights :)

That way I don't look like I'm the only nutcase with lights up early :)

Went to Toys R Us 3 weeks ago and they had Christmas Hits on loop

I took dd2 to the Harrods Christmas parade today. She waved at Father Christmas and has been singing Christmas songs all day long!
