i thought the breakfast show was great.

one presenter, clear, concise, to the point and no faffing about.

think i'll switch to news24 or something in future.

This is not really the thread for this question but was shocked yesterday morning to notice how thin Sian was looking on the morning news. DH also independently commented that she was looking gaunt. Is she on some awful sleb diet?

Agreed. I really enjoyed watching plain old news without the simpering and 'comic' interplay between Bill and Sian. Also I hate it when they joke and laugh before opting out to the local news. Ours usually starts with something grim and it just makes me uncomfortable when they're laughing minutes earlier.

I preferred BBC1 this morning. Plain old news with out fake chemistry between the presenters. Bliss.

It was so much better with a dry edge (as news should be) - they should have that on as an alternative to 'breakfast' in a morning.

No, other people in the other union(s) are on strike too in support I think. Though I guess it's the news which is most effected.
