He was being rude and inconsiderate even if he was technically right. I can't stand people like that, I smoke but I always try not to smoke around others/be as considerate as possible. I would have just smoked away from the shelter, it's not difficult surely?

How in Hades does this happen??? Is it a new bug in MN? Perhaps it happens if you click on Add message instead of just posting as normal...

it happens if you create a thread without giving it a title.

you can't click on them to view, like normal threads.

I click "watch this thread" and then it opens, then I can post on it and after that it is on my threads I'm on and I can get in.

but Hec, bratnav said she was replying to a post on another thread and it just happened - very Twilight Zone!

ANd have just realised that this particular thread is about 7 weeks old...
