To be annoyed at the selfish woman in coffee shop!

I am really pissed off. Being very sleep derprived with a 3 month old baby, I sometimes drop DD off at school and on way home, if baby sleeping pop into our local cafe for a nice cafeine boost and a read of one of the many newspapers they have for customers. It is usually the only time I ever get to myself in the day tbh.

Unbelievably the woman in front of me in the queue while waiting for her coffee gathered up 4 newspapers from the rack - the rest were already out - and then took them to the upstairs with her. No newspapers for anyone else to read selfish cow.

I couldn't go and ask her for one as had DS in pram downstairs but honestly! I am so tired and pissed off and really look forward to this little treat.....

Oh well poor me! I know I'm ranting and it's silly but she's ruined my little treat. 10 nights without more than 4 hours sleep and counting.........makes you unreasonable I guess.

YANBU... I would have chased her up the stairs whilst shouting... oi, can you leave me one of them papers please!

I think p'raps I would have asked one of the staff if they could rustle up a paper for me and explain that someone just took all of them upstairs.

All the newspapers? That's unreasonable. But the cafe staff should have gone after her, not you; don't you even think about shifting yourself.

She's probably the one on her own taking up the whole area where the comfy leather sofas are too.

The woman was very selfish, but I agree that the staff should have gone and got them.

Good - glad it's not just me. The comfy seats were all taken as well - as usual but can't really complain about that!

I should have asked the staff tbh but didn't have the energy...

Still the coffee was nice as was the cake! She will have bad karma now, I know it! Thanks for cheering me up!

You need a smart phone so you can MN from the cafe, fifi. No need for newspapers then, you see
