When they don't turn up and you phone Sky you get passed between 18 different people in a call centre in India, you get asked to get various details about the riend, then you get told you need more details, then the tell you they have no record of your 'recommendation' and refuse to send you the vouchers.

We recommended a friend and did get the vouchers - there's a specific offer code that the friend has to mention along with your details. Did your friend do this?

I successfully got my deal

We shamefully took advantage of the dumbass person at callcentre and got vouchers for both sets of us.

my friend's just been off spending the £150 she got from this

I had problems with them as well. YANBU.

Yes it can be. My friend recommended me years ago and never got them [it was £30 in those days]. They ended up giving her free movies for a couple of months, but only because she was really insistent and spent a lot of time on the phone. Interesting to see they are still lying to their customers.
