OMG-your husband watches Jeremy Kyle-isn´t that proof enough?Grin

Squitten · 02/11/2010 14:06

For me, it's quite the opposite. An intelligent creator would never have allowed it.

Jeremy Kyle and his guests can only be the result of millenia of random mutations...

mylifewithstrangers · 02/11/2010 14:07

It's certainly proof that there is a Devil - and he's 'avin a laugh Grin

seeker · 02/11/2010 14:07

Ah - but consider the fact that we find our own chidren irresistably gorgeous but everyone elses's repulsive. That is proof positive of natural selection!

NerdyFace · 02/11/2010 14:07

So essentially,

If God Exsisted = Jeremy Kyle and his Guests would be the foot servants of Satan

Since god DOESN'T exsist = Jeremy Kyle is a celebrity

Ah now.... The Kyle Show merely demonstrates that evolution has been temporarily interrupted by the advent of modern medicine and other factors that keep branches of humanity alive who, in former times, would have been too stupid to survive.

I accept NerdyFace and Chil1234 arguments.

WHat can be done though?

OP posts:
Chil1234 · 02/11/2010 14:15

Maybe we could do some sort of 'appear on the Kyle Show and get sterilised' two-for-one deal... give the gene pool a fighting chance?

NerdyFace · 02/11/2010 14:16

TheEvilDead2

Fire, lots and lots....Of Fire

Hammy02 · 02/11/2010 14:17

If no-one funded these losers and their off-spring, Darwinism would wipe them out.

TheEvilDead2 · 02/11/2010 14:18

Sounds like a plan chil1234, but as most of them are on the show to find out paternity for 12 of their 14 children... Is it too late?

OP posts:
GetOrfMoiLand · 02/11/2010 14:18

I was off last week and watched Jeremy Kyle on avid fascination.

I don't think it refutes the theory of evolution, just proves the fact that some people never go to the dentist/wash their hair/buy shoes inteads of trainers.

anon2010 · 02/11/2010 14:23

Grinat getorfmyland I watched it too out of curiosity while off sick yesterday, lasted all of fifteen minutes before I had to turn it over.

Chil1234 · 02/11/2010 14:24

It's a pity we gave the Empire back, really. We could have sent a few Kyle-sters to a remote island in the South Atlantic train cameras on them 24/7 and treat it as the ultimate reality show. Working title... 'I'm A Skanky Ho, Get Me Out of Here!'.

GetOrfMoiLand · 02/11/2010 14:26

Look, you lot who are complaining about Jezza Kyle have evidently never watched Maury (american).

They did paternity tests on that last week (oh such a valid use of my precious annual leave, watching crap on the telly Grin) and there was one woman who had paternity tested 12 blokes for her one baby, none of whom who was the father.

The last bloke she tested 'I am 150% sure he is my babydaddy'. He wasn't.

TheEvilDead2 · 02/11/2010 14:26

That's been done before chil they called it "australia"

OP posts:
TheEvilDead2 · 02/11/2010 14:28

Everyone knows the American ones are fake though Getorf, my fear is these people are for real.

"Have you ever noticed how creationists always look so ... unevolved?" Bill Hicks

Sidge · 02/11/2010 14:31

Oh I love watching JK at the gym!

I'm so transfixed by the scummy shaggers I've run 10k before I know it.

NerdyFace · 02/11/2010 14:32

TondelayooohSchwarlock

I pledge my ever-lasting love for you because you quoted Bill Hicks

Chil1234 · 02/11/2010 14:34

The disturbing thought is that the ones who are featured on the show were the best of the bunch. Somewhere there is a holding pen for the ones that didn't make it.... what on earth must they be like?

seeker · 02/11/2010 14:35

LoL at TS!

Miggsie · 02/11/2010 14:35

When seeing JK I suddenly understand why Diogenes decided to live his life in a barrel cutting off communication with the rest of the world.

Possibly JK shows that evolution as yet, has not got round to factoring in television as a disruptive force.
