DH is doing my head in!

I'm 28 weeks PG.
Indigestion is really setting in now (hurrah)

Every time I have a rennie, every single time, dh has to do a dodgy 'allo 'allo impression and say "ohhhh Rrrrrrrrennee" because it's really funny Hmm

I sleep with the rennies under my pillow now, the plan being it would muffle the sound of the wrapper, but no, DH appears to have dog hearing in the middle of the night, wakes up to give me a "Ohhhh Rrrrrrrrrenneeee" and then chuckles himself back to sleep.

Can I make him sleep downstairs?

PML... Grin

Plumm · 02/11/2010 10:32

Buy him the box set for Christmas and make him watch them - that should stop him.

misskaur08 · 02/11/2010 10:33

second Plumm

Squitten · 02/11/2010 10:35

Just kill him - it's easier...

We've only got one TV, so a box set isn't an option, as I would be forced to watch it too.

In a few weeks, I think killing him will be the best option :o

Quite interested in the squeeky toy idea - do you think it would work in the same way as training disks for dogs?

Switch to Gaviscon liquid... no obvious puns there.

Ealingkate · 02/11/2010 10:43

Or charcoal biscuits

faverolles · 02/11/2010 10:45

Charcoal biscuits to choke him with? Now there's an idea......

Will try gaviscon I think. Anything to stop dh being a tosser!

I've never seen Allo allo, but I think killing him is your only option.
My DH has a set reply for many situations, the most infuriating one is in response to telling him we are having sausages. He says in a really corny french accent 'sausage mon brave'
He has even got dd doing it. Angry

BonfieryFlisspaps · 02/11/2010 10:50

Give up on the Rennie, use ASDAs own indigestion sweets.

Although SIL claimed that Refreshers/Parma Violets/Love Hearts would work in much the same way.

Alternatively, you could poke him in the eye with the packet every time he says it, I reckon he'd soon stop.

faverolles · 02/11/2010 10:56

I did try putting the scrumpled up wrappers in his pants when he was asleep. Made me feel slightly better, but didn't put a stop to the little problem.

Kreecher - you should be feeling so, so privileged that you have never seen the crap that is/was 'allo 'allo.
You have my sympathies with your dh - comments are funny the first time you hear them. After several weeks, I reckon murder is justifiable.

Charocoal biscuits are supposed to v good for indigestion and other stomach upsets. Google and see.

domeafavour · 03/11/2010 08:13
