'tis easy, you probably do more than him for them.

UnseenAcademicalMum · 01/11/2010 00:11

hate the word kids. They are 'my' children when they are good. They are 'his' children when they have been winding me up all day Grin.

maby · 01/11/2010 00:12

yes i think that's why i do it - I'm home with them a lot more than he is.I also sometimes refer to the house as 'my' house, but I know a lot of women who do that.Men!

'The kids'? or
'Our kids' when he's there.

'My kids' when he's not.

'His kids' when they've made a mess.

DooinMeCleanin · 01/11/2010 00:14

I'm like UAM. 'My' kids when they are good and 'fgs remove your children before I hurt them' when they are bad. Also his kids when they need new school shoes Grin

maby · 01/11/2010 00:14

unseenacademicalmum - i might try that :)

I like being able to say 'My son'. Am a single parent so I get all the glory. He's mine, all mine mwahaha Grin.

MoralDefective · 01/11/2010 00:19

Yep,they're his when i'm cross with them,
mine when they're good[hgrin]

MaMoTTaT · 01/11/2010 00:22

I like being able to say "my boys" (like GTGG a single parent) - thought when talking to their dad/handing them over for him to have them/time alone they're his kids Grin
