To think that a man in his early 40s smoking a PIPE should be shot as a warning

I did an enormous cartoon style triple take. At rugby(of course) with braying Sloanes in tweeds and those riding boots, there was a man in jeans and a Barbour smoking a pipe.

on the plus side, pipe smoke can smell gorgeous.

what's your pipe problem?.. and shot as a warning to what exactly? ...pipe depravity?

perhaps you should move out of your comfort zone now and again, widen life's horizons a leetle bit more, as and when you can..

They're silly whoever smokes them! Unless you happen to be a wizened old sea dog...named Captain Fazackerly or something.

A pipe can be quite groovy and the smell is divine in winter.

I haven't seen anyone smoking a pipe in a loooooooooong time. as I loved the smell of my uncle smoking them.

I think they are better than cigs - bit like rolling tobacco is better (less chemically shite) but I may be wrong.

Agree the smell of pipe smoke is lovely. Years back I worked for a firm that banned smoking in the office (back in the days when this was optional). No-one had the heart to point this out to the one man who smoked a pipe, so he carried on puffing away quite happily.

Btw, it's still bad for you - think pipe smoking causes mouth cancer.
