Interesting , based in York and looked at unemployment 100 years ago and today.

There were really grim parts of the series.

Bloke sleeping in a tent in a field for six months,

FOOD FOR THOUGHT....but very little food for the bloke.

There was an artical on bbc website about this last week, it had a link to the original rowntrees report if you're interested. I've bookmarked it to have read when I get a free moment (never gonna happem!).

I saw that. I was sympathetic but didn't like the young unemployed bloke taking free hand-outs (food) when he had money for fags and tattoos. I know I shouldn't judge...

points taken we have a few beggars and big isstownue sellers in my

suppose Jesus was right when he said the poor are always with us. It is a relative term anyway
