Not a biggie but I'd appreciate opinions. We live in a block of flats and my neighbour is having some work done. So far, every day this week there's been intermittent drilling and banging from around 9am-5pm. It's not awful but it is a bit wearing. I MN work at home so I notice it. I think it's a bit rude the neighbour didn't bother to come and tell me she was going to get work done, but I guess she may think I'm out at work all day. Would it be rude to pop down and ask her if she knows when she'll be finished, or will I just piss her off?

Thanks.

[hgrin][hgrin] LRD, not knowing that AIBU is where the flamers get flamed [hgrin] and you're supposed to be a regular!

Your subsequent post showed that you were just trying to plan work, but your OP really did look like you wanted to tell her it annoyed you.

(and that's how she'd take it)

but I get your post and i echo the thing about not asking her directly but in passing, which you have agreed to

and now we can all breathe

Yeah, I know nick. I'm a bit pissed off with myself for not making it clearer, but still it's a good example of people not reading the OP/posts.

Ah well. Smile
