To feel sorry for him

Is it unreasonable to feel sorry for Charlie Sheen? Hmm

I still think he's gorgeous, I had a massive crush on him in the 80's, everyone calls him a scumbag and that, but I just feel sorry for him I just get the feeling he's not happy at all and is...... well a bit fucked up but otherwise a good person who needs help Confused

Just wondered what others think?.

Why, what's wrong with him?

I like watching him on Two and a Half Men

LIZS · 28/10/2010 10:40

er, an alcoholic, woman abusing druggie - what's not to like Hmm No he probably isnlt happy and as aprt fo the bratpack hardly had any better friends but then do his kids deserve this or the women who choose to be with him ?

Gory09 · 28/10/2010 10:42

I think he has been arrested on accusations of having assaulted his wife do not know the details.

Me feeling sorry will depend on his guilt or innocence.

LIZS · 28/10/2010 10:49

last year he was charged with assault on the mother of his baby twins, brief reconcilation when charges were dropped, now filed for divorce. This time he trashed a hotel room in new yrol, with his older kids apparently staying in an adjacent roon, while under the influence. A naked prostitute was found cowering in his room. He was admitted to hospital and said to have had an adverse reaction to medication and alcohol. Been in rehab several times too iirc. Still one of the highest paid actors on US tv.

Well thats a bit simplified but the basics are there.

What makes you think he's a good person Ryoko?

ShirleyGarrote · 28/10/2010 12:18

He is a cock.

clam · 28/10/2010 12:23

I bet all the women he is alleged to have assaulted started out feeling sorry for him too.

Bet they don't now.

Ryoko · 28/10/2010 12:24

I don't know I just think he is, I just think he's a bit fucked up.

ShirleyGarrote · 28/10/2010 12:29

Well, I'm a bit fucked up but I don't kick shit out of puppies.

fatlazymummy · 28/10/2010 12:36

Yes he does sound a bit fucked up. However he does have ample opportunity for getting help and preventing 'fucking up' other people's lives. What of the women and children in his life?.They are the ones who deserve sympathy [including the prostitute who witnessed his temper, whether or not she was actually assaulted].

Mingg · 28/10/2010 12:43

YANBU, he obviously is unhappy and there is nothing wrong with having compassion (in fact I wish more people had some). Does not mean you condone his actions

Ryoko · 28/10/2010 13:08

I still can't deside if it's just because I think he is cute tho Hmm

You know who I feel sorry for? Saddam Hussein, I mean, he was a bit of a bastard, but I think he was probably fucked up and deserved a bit of compassion, not to be hanged. Also, he's was quite hot in an Omar Sharrareef kind of way.

And Hitler - he was probably quite fucked up and all. Poor old Hitler
