Snap I havent worn any since giving birth to ds 6 weeks, (mainly because I havent had time or reason to). My skin is much clearer [hgrin]

I never wear any makeup except when I'm going to a dressy event.

As far as DH is concerned, he's seen me fat and pregnant, stretch-marked and flabby, and lying on my back screeching in labour - the illusion is LOOOOOONG gone!!

Dont! If you want to treat yourself, have a facial, or buy some nice skincare, or have your red veins zapped, that kind of thing - concentrate on looking fab without it. But you dont even need to do that!

I hardly ever wear makeup since getting an eye infection i couldn't wear it for a couple of weeks while i was on antibiotics and realised it was a waste of time and money that i could be using to do something i care about.no one has even mentioned it.

I never wear any make up at all. I'm not sure why you think that wearing make up means you are making an effort for your husband. What sort of effort does he make for you? My husband, for example, brings me flowers and chocs now and then, or cooks me meals I especially like, and I try to do nice things for him, such as a surprise bottle of wine I know he will enjoy, etc. Why not do something like that if you are worried about making an effort?

I always wear make up as I look a lot better with a touch!!!
And I do it for myself, not dh.
But if you don't want to- why should it bother other people.
