99% of my friends are getting their knickers in a twist over trying to see the 5 TT all together again

several have taken the day off work to then try and battle through to buy tickets via internet/mobile and landline

aibu to think they are all insane to pay £60/90 per ticket [hgrin]

It is all a bit silly

2rebecca · 27/10/2010 12:06

What are you on about? No idea what TTT is and no-one I know is going.

elliephant · 27/10/2010 12:15

Take That?

Blondeshavemorefun · 27/10/2010 12:19

I can't wait to watch it on tv - you get a much better seat at home Grin
plus they'll probably be on children in need

2rebecca · 27/10/2010 12:22

I thought Three tenors. I thought take that wasn't until next year. What are they doing on Friday?

ZENZIZENZIZENZIC · 27/10/2010 12:30

It was such a marketing/publicity stunt waiting to bring Robbie back into TT.

Got a good new single out of it and now concert tickets are going to be like hens teeth.

Mind you, I couldn't stand them the first time around, but their music has matured nicely now.

Blondeshavemorefun · 27/10/2010 12:38

the tickets go on sale on friday for next year

I spoke to my friend at their record company this morning and she says she doesn't think she'll be able to get tickets either.

GetOrfMoiLand · 27/10/2010 12:52

I took the piss out of Take That fans at school years ago when they all cried when Robbie left, and I am going to take the piss out of you lot now

SuePurblybilt · 27/10/2010 12:53

I would have bothered if they were going to ritually shame Robbie. Maybe make him eat his own singles or publicly list his crimes.

But if they're encouraging him to sing then no, any sane person will be staying well away. YANBU.

GhastlyandUgly · 27/10/2010 12:58

Yay I have tickets!

lazarusb · 27/10/2010 15:17

My brother's friend and I saw TT in '95- dressed in leather jackets, NIN t-shirts & Doc Martens. We got some strange looks from the 14 year olds and their mums...getorf- they covered 'Teen Spirit'! I nearly died! [[hgrin]

sweetheart · 27/10/2010 15:20

G&U - how have you already got tickets?

Hulababy · 27/10/2010 15:21

I am already off work this week anyway and would quite like to go to the concert. Saw the a couple of years ago and they were great and I like Robbie too, so seeing the five of them would be nice.

The tickets range from £55 to £85 apparently but TBh this is pretty much the norm these days for big concerts.

I shall log on first thing friday morning to try and get 4 tickets to the Sunderland show - for me, 8y DD, my sister and Katz. Wanted to go to Manchester ideally but realised that is clashed with Wytchwood and I already have tickets for that.

GhastlyandUgly · 27/10/2010 15:58

Friend who works at their record company has sorted.

lorelilee · 27/10/2010 15:59

Yes Ghastly - how on earth have you managed to get tickets already.

I am SO excited - not overly happy about Mr Williams rejoining, but have to admit he's a showman and will add a different dimension.

lola0109 · 27/10/2010 16:03

I have hinted heavily to DP, Dad, sis etc (anyone who will listen) thats its almost my 30th and this would be a lovely surprise! But TBH I'm not a fan of Robbie either, did you see him on the help for heroes concert? Did he mention the heroes once? It was like the Robbie Williams show! Hmm

BUT, I would not pay £60-£90 myself on a ticket, especially this near Christmas!

The last few times I've been to see them it was £45 and I moaned for ages about that!

getorf I was in the front row of their concert when I was 15, in the same year I also went to see Nirvana.

DP is just so confused when he looks at my cd collection Grin

PhishFoodAddiction · 27/10/2010 16:04

Gah, I've never been a fan of TT, was more into...ahem...East17 Blush when TT were at the height of popularity.

Would love to get a couple of tickets though..so many of my friends are desperate to go that I could start a bidding frenzy!!

Blondeshavemorefun · 28/10/2010 13:39

east 17 and bros [hblush]
