Right. Organised a halloween piss up party at my house for this weekend. I actually invited people in August as I know how people book themselves up months in advance. Held off on buying stuff until weekend just gone in case people started crying off. Went out yesterday and bought decorations, drink etc. Now the excuses are coming in. Baby sitter let us down/ill/got a better offer (probably)

I know that shit comes up in people's lives but seriously. People must know I'd be buying stuff for it etc. I understand that it's cold and the X-Factor is on but come on!

Am thinking of cancelling and drinking all the cider in front of the X-Factor, like a miserable cow Grin

and still decorate your house inside and out and wear fancy dress, then go trick or treating p**d as a newt Wink

Agree with fandango Grin dress up, get pissed, then go trick or treating, scoff the lot in front of the TV whilst you curse the miserable bastards who cancelled Grin

The thing is, there are around ten people still coming. Is ten a crap number for a party? I'd rather have no party than a lame-o party. :(

If 10 people are drinking the same amount of alcohol as, say, 30 people, that sounds like an excellent party to me Grin

juneybean · 25/10/2010 15:43

Ooo where's our invite?!

anonymosity · 25/10/2010 15:44

Ten is fine.
