yanbu - my two are onto dvd number 2, whilst I MN and doze on couch. Im my defence I am 37 weeks pg and was up all last night with feckin heartburn and no gaviscon.

I may get them dressed later and venture to the park if the weather stays sunny, but don't hold me to it Grin

shimmerysilverghosty · 25/10/2010 10:40

Oh I do too, unfortunately I forgot to take my alarm off this morning so was still woken up at 7.30 am [hangry]. I think I deserve a morning slobbing around to get over that!

MaudOHara · 25/10/2010 10:42

shimmerysilverghosty · 25/10/2010 10:43

Mine are 7 and 4, only recently become possible. In fact life has suddenly got A LOT easier in the past couple of months, in terms of practical child care stuff that is.

shimmerysilverghosty · 25/10/2010 10:57

Well I have certainly earned this time. I haven't had a lie in for 7 YEARS! Ex didn't believe men should get up with kids, charmer that he was. Luckily mine always slept well through the night, I feel your pain Shriiieeek.

Mine are back at school now (Scottish half term was a couple of weeks back), but dh took the morning off this morning, so he walked the dog and made sure the dses got off to school whilst I stayed firmly under the duvet.

I am now up, but still in my nightshirt and snuggly wuggly dressing gown (what a treat for the windowcleaner - lol). I will shower and get dressed later, but my first definite appointment in choir practice at half past seven tonight, so I've got time to spare!

FoundWanting · 25/10/2010 11:04

Well, my DH brought me a cup of coffee in bed at 7.15, and proudly announced that he'd done the packed lunches. Then said DD was refusing to get out of bed.

So, we are all up and dressed.Grin And he has sheepishly sloped off to work.

NothereisnobodylurkingbehindU · 25/10/2010 11:11

I'm dressed but only because dd2's friend was being dropped off! Big girls dressed but dd3 still in pjs Grin I haver very bad period cramps so I need to keep still Grin

Galena · 25/10/2010 11:18

I was up at 7:30 with 18mo DD, but she went back to bed at 10:30 and I had a lovely soak in the bath (Don't have a shower :( ) and now feel very chilled out listening to classical music, while waiting for all hell to break loose again her to wake up.

OooeeeoooeeeoooeeEthel · 25/10/2010 11:22

I've had a lovely bath and am now half dressed (top half) while I have a cup if tea and feed ds. No need to be anywhere til 2 so I'm not rushing with the other half.

magna · 25/10/2010 11:23

Pyjama day here to. DS1 playing games and TV DS2 Only 2.3mo needing a bit more amusement but still happy bimbling around the flat.

Me pretending to tidy up but MN keeps calling Smile

WallowsInFlies · 25/10/2010 11:28

been up since 6am sadly. ds is dressed and i'm pretend dressed as in jogging bottoms and jumpers - only due to coffee crisis and shop run first thing otherwise we'd probably be in pj's.

i'm looking forward to this lying in business.

DialMforMother · 25/10/2010 11:30

Dd snuffly, feeding and coughing all night. Co-sleeping so no rest for either of us. Have cancelled day and am on sofa with snuffly, feedy, sleepy person and ironing is NOT doing itself. When did high powered career become this?!

Any advice on decongesting 5mo very helpful at this point. (or on getting ironing to do itself) :)
