my fucking mother will be getting a talking to later Words Will Be Had
Jesus so raging
kids at harvest thing at katie's school
mum agrees to lift them 10.15 finish
i phone her,she writes in calendar
i txt her to remind her last night
and again this morning
so who gets the phone call at 11.20 IN THE MIDDLE OF AN EXAM to say they havne't been lifted????
and of course dick head is too busy with "stuff" to get off his arse and go 5 minutes down the road to lift them
not that he's being awkward or anything

so, AIBU?

You know you aren't.

WhoAteAgentZigzagsBrain · 22/10/2010 14:21

It's not good of your mum to 'forget' to pick them up (are there any medical issues there, seems a bit weird given the amount of times you reminded her) but it's pretty crap of your DH not to get them either, especially as you were in an exam!

Fuck his stuff Angry

Actually, looking at that, I'd be more angry with a DH who couldn't do it as it's his responisbility, your mum was just doing you a favour.

What happened with your exam? Did they let you finish it?

Anniegetyourgun · 22/10/2010 14:22

Wait! "dick head" would be, in this context, the children's father? Has he no responsibility for them, or obligation to do you a favour even if they aren't his? Is your mother the only guilty party here or should the ire perhaps be fairly shared out?

Tee2072 · 22/10/2010 15:06

Dick head is her X. She got to finish her exam.

Mummy2Bookie · 22/10/2010 15:34

Mothers eh? Makes me glad I don't talk to my mum anymore. A lot happier now.

Have calmed down but Words Were Had With Mother - did you hear me all the way far away at yours Tee???

I think I just gotta write today off as one of those days.

Lecturer emailed to tell me I passed - won't tell me the mark but said he felt so sorry for me he wanted to let me know I'd passed.

So he's not quite the hardasnails image he portrays.

To be fair, Mum and Dad have a lot on their plate but I don't ask them for much babysitting and it just was such a bad day for it all to go wrong.

Gin anyone??
