Okay so I wont bore you with the details of why it is there is a poo sample to begin with, but was at the GP today, told to provide a poo sample, given a lovely little sample pot, and outer plastic bag thingy with sticky fastener.
So anyway...an opportunity presented itself to provide a sample so a sample was lovingly prepared and placed in said sample pot and placed in plastic bag.
Drove to the GP's surgery and they were CLOSED!!! (I suspect in retrospect they might close for lunch?)
So I put it through the letterbox, thus depriving myself of the opportunity to sidle up to reception apologetcally wearing large sunglasses, discretely hand the sample to the least princessy looking receptionist and charge out of there ASAP.
Is this "wrong"? There was no chance of it exploding or anything, and indeed it didn't, it just dropped onto the mat about half a meter and sat there winking at me saying "I'm a poo sample!"
Will the GP surgery staff come back from their lunch break to be greeted by my sample and be grossed out, or do they get this every day?
