To think this Freecycle woman is a bit nutty and rude?

I love freecycle and have used it for years.

DD has just moved into a toddler bed and so I put her cot on this week. I had a woman email me about it on Wednesday mid-morning, when I didnt reply to her email by 2pm that day (as I had the nerve to be busy) she emailed me back and said 'Can I have the cot or what?'

She then messaged me again on the Thursday morning to say that she was going to report me as I hadnt responded to her, and she asked what kind of cot it was.

I replied saying that it was a pine Mothercare one, as I had advertised to which she replied 'Oh I am so disapointed as I wanted a white one, I cant believe you have done this to me, I have been holding out for you' P.S Do you have a white one?

AIBU to think she is a bit strange and a nutter (plus a bit rude)

YANBU. She was being very rude and impatient, and with that sort of attitude I wouldn't give her the drips off the end of my nose. Manners maketh a wo(man).

Sadly you get a lot of rude ignorant people like this on freecycle. Most are lovely but some just have no manners.

Do you think she may be a little hormonal?

Maybe you could apologise profusely and offer to take her shopping to buy her a new one in white.............she might even want some other things whilst you're at it......

Report her. TBH I'm amazed you replied telling her the type of cot when she had already been so rude. Send all mails to the mods and ignore her future posts, the looper.
