$ year old ds has become a bloody nightmare - being told to switch the tv off, even for something nice like going to the park, is resulting in massive tantrums and screaming fits. I'm tempted to get rid of the tv altogether, I can't DO the 'watch for half an hour then play with crayons' bit. Its either on for hours, or not at all because we try manically to entertain him.
We barely watch it ourselves. Should I just get rid?

Sounds reasonable to me Grin

4 year old, not $.
thanks cory!
I shoved him out the house with his dad this morning (to the park, not the sodding pit) with the warning that one more tantrum and the tv is going in the bin.So now I think I;m going to have to stick to my guns!

Grin More than reasonable.

I would like to toss mine out when DH turns it on when I am enjoying my early morning coffee. He then proceeds to leave the house and doesn't turn the bloody thing off. Angry
