And Angelina still looks stunning but she's somehow so stiff and tepid since she became rake thin. I thought she was much more gorgeous when she had curves.

But Depp, what has happened to him? He must finally have started to age because I think he looks awful in this trailer, so uncomfortable.

Maybe he is realising that the film they're making is a steaming pile of manure. That might explain it.

i haven't seen it but i think it'd be nice to see a film star ageing naturally for a change. How draining it must be trying to look 25 when you're nearly 50 for fear of what people will say!

Oh I'm happy for him to age, I love the actors who age naturally and get gnarly. It's not his AGING I mind or weight gain either, I like a man with some heft. It's that he looks unwell. You can be padded and look well can't you?

I once saw that Venetian bloke who did the TV series on Venice a few years ago. (Can't remember his name and can't be bothered to Google. Francisco summat?) Unsurprisingly, the sighting was in Venice. Prosaically enough, he was coming out of a chemist's. Not much mystique there.

My first thought was that he looks like someone else wearing a Johnny Depp mask. His face looked oddly prosthetic somehow. But he's probably just a bit pudgier than normal. And if that's the case, I'd guess it's on purpose, for the role. Because he's not fat in the PoTC films, or anything else he's done recently.

Probably not. Actors rarely appear in films without make up of some description. We do make up on people to make them look older and/or worse as well as younger/better! Depends on the job. I suspect he did put on the weight for the role.

I still definitely would too. I reckon that even with the weight, ageing and dodgy hair he still looks better than most men his age.
