To not like people touching my children?

I know that many people love babies and esp. find twins fascinating but whenever i go out with them, they are descended on by hordes of coochie cooing strangers, women and men , who insist on touching them, stroking their faces etc. I would never dream of doing that to someone else's child, esp. without asking first.I have to admit, i am slightly neurotic about germs on hands but surely strangers should respect personal space. The babies don't seem to mind but i do. AIBU??

YANBU as long as you will be happy to allow relatives/selected friends and nursery teachers to have appropriate physical contact with them as they get older

YANBU but congratulate yourself on gorgeous babies that attract admiration wherever they go! It won't last and toddlers won't stay still long enough to get stroked. Older children aren't always sweet! Don't worry about germs, but maybe suggest to the aggressive strokers to stroke head and not face. May help your twins to grow even more confident and outgoing Wink.
