I have an OU Maths exam (M208) and I'm very nervous. Been doing really well on the coursework but no idea if I'll remember anything now!

Aiming for 85% but it really depends what questions come up.

Last year DS was a few weeks old and I had the exam at home with an invigilator sitting on my sofa, it was much less scary!

Well it was horrible :( much harder than any of the mocks I did, and didn't have any of my favourite topics. No way in hell I've got a distinction. Which is kind of annoying as I did so well on the coursework and it won't show on my overall grade.

Meh. Right I'll stop ranting now, dad is getting us nandos for dinner.

Though I am going to change my name to something non mathsy... Was going to anyway but I may as well flouncily do it now!

This'll be me next Tuesday morning - I've got M343 which is the last course for my OU maths degree... ARGH! If it's any consolation, M208 is the ONLY one I haven't got a distinction in (I had enough in the assignments to get a distinction, but not in the exam)! It's a devil of an exam if I say so myself!

I have Level 2 Spanish exam on Friday. Just glad it´s over until feb when I start the next course!!!

85% is very high. Most people do better in the TMAs than in the final exams. I hope you get the marks you wanted, but remember, just gettng through the course with a family deserves a distiction IMO.

Freudian, yeah, I did, although I'm not entirely sure how cos I hated it! I think my method of filling EVERY blank space in my handbook with model answers copied from past paper solutions helped! I used different coloured pens so I could tell which answer was which and wrote really small! I don't hold out much hope for M343 to be honest. I haven't even read a number of the units! However, ALL I need to do is pass it and I'll have a First, so I'm concentrating on that elusive 40%! Fingers crossed for you - and for everyone else!
