To think its disgusting to smoke in the bath

Being a smoker myself, i dont normally have an issue with anybody smoking but in the bath...?? That's just not right!

I don't think it's any more disgusting than smoking anywhere else. Smoking is disgusting wherever it's done.

I have fond memories of enjoying a deliciously hot bubble bath and a fragrant spliff as a teenager.

It completely defeats the object of having a bath....it makes you stink, you'll prolly drop ash in there too....IMHO i just dont think its nice as my OP states!

I take a book and a packet of chocolate fingers in on the rare occasion that I have a long bath. I think that's equally as disgusting but I still love it :o

Preferably on a cold night with the window open, so the bath steams beautifully.

YABU a bath with a fag and a glass of wine is great.

I don't smoke, but I bet it must be lovely to lie back in the warm bubbles and enjoy a fag.

Surelty the point of a bath is to relax not to clean. I've never had a bath to clean myself. I only ever do it when I have a muscle injury or am just back from a camping trip with aches and pains.
If it's a cleaning I want I'll have a shower.
In a bath you are stewing in the dirt you've just washed off.

I still have baths with Lush stuff though, and the £6 a day...

... it would cost if I still smoked is more than enough to keep me in ballistics and bubble bars.

Haha, when I smoked I did do this once or twice. It felt really decadent and yet I was disgusted with myself at the same time.

It is vile, but...nice.

Decadent and pleasurable with a whiff of self-disgust. That describes a lot of my life before children

and on the toilet.

Not me, as an ex-smoker, never enjoyed it in the bath or outside for some reason.

Surely the bathroom should be all lovely and clean smelling, the smoke would get in the towels, gross.

Although I hate smoking anywhere indoors, the smell permeates everything, although perhaps it's only really noticable to a non-smoker. So in the bathroom it just seems particularly unsavory.

It's disgusting to smoke anywhere! But when I was a smoker (20 years) I smoked in the bath, in bed, in the office (1990's), on longhaul flights (early 90's) - fuck it makes me feel so sick now just thinking about it. I was a major smoking facist bitch but I had no idea - lost in my own ignorance. Smokers have very little idea of just how foul actually smoking is - it's a big part of the reason of why they are able to light up the next ciggie.
