Argghh. It's 21.40, dd is asleep and they are blasting music and squealing with laughter.
Two nights ago he was smacking her about and being very loud and very agressive. And before anyone says I should be more sympathetic to her, I am, my DH has called the police on her behalf but it has made no difference to their very loud and volatile relationship.
I hate that I have to put up with both of them being so inconsiderate and I hate that my dd has to hear the violence.
And yes I also hate that I live next to such a horrible excuse for a man and there does not seem much that I can do about it.

Apologies rant over.

You have my sympathies - we used to live two doors away from a horrible family and had to listen to them screaming, fighting and brawling the whole time. Have you thought about involving the noise abatement team? Is the house rented - can you involve the landlord?
