Firstly there has been wine...
Secondly I'm on holiday at Center Parcs with an appalling mobile signal
Thirdly my Mum is staying at my Aunts...

She phoned me once today, at lunchtime, I had no signal...

Then she phoned my mobile just after 8, I had enough of a signal for my phone to ring but not enough for her to hear me when I answered.

Dh has a great signal on his phone and his blackberry so I've been calling her back, at my aunt's for over an hour.

Continually engaged.

I've tried both their mobiles, they are both switched off.

I'm of course worried that something has happened to make her phone me twice ina day (2 times when we have been at Center Parcs someone close has died...) but I've been ringing them back on Dh's balckberry for about 85 mins and its STILL engaged....

Get off the phone....there is no message on my phone for me to kow if its just a "just checking you are ok" rather than a "your entire family has been abducted by aliens" call...

Just tried again after typing that.....still engaged.

Presumably she knows you're at CP. So, if she had been abducted by aliens and the aliens had allowed her access to her phone, she would have called CPHQ and got them to go and bang on your chalet door.

Relax - if it was really really urgent she would have found a way to contact you.

She might not have hung up her phone properly if it is continually engaged. You can phone the operator and they can tell you if she is on a call or not.

I'll stop trying at 10....its the cut off really for me.....

Now, and possibly because of the wine...I just want to talk to my MUm...

Can you divert your phone to DH's blackberry?

Bathsheba · 11/10/2010 22:01

I could do, and I'll do tat tomorrow, but he always has that on silent.....

Still engaged, I'm having to assume its been left off the hook
