to spend £100 on reflexology??

Ive held off on it because I know I dont really need it.

My usual beauty women sent me a txt saying they were running an offer of 6 sessions of reflexology for £100 which is really good, given that most people round here charge £30-£40 a session.

Ive got the money but it could be better spent really.

So AIBU, should I just book it and pay up, or be sensible for once and decline Sad it just seems like such a good offer and I love reflexology its always the one treatment I have if I go anywhere special)

If in doubt, kick it out I say. Sorry!

Give yourself a £25 OR £50 treat instead?

Can you book as Xmas pres to yourself?

(This is coming from someone non-sensible who just poured a huge amount of chicken stock down a sink so feel free to ignore me)

Yeah why not? I'm way too ticklish to enjoy it myself, if I have any extra money I just go to the benefit make up counter and let them raid my pockets!

faverolles · 11/10/2010 13:32

I'm fairly sensible, and tend to talk myself out of doing anything, but even I think £100 for 6 sessions is reasonable, and if it is something you enjoy, go for it.

The only thing I'd ask is if they were qualified. £16 a session is very cheap for a qualified reflexologist.

mosschops30 · 11/10/2010 13:38

ooh thats no help Smile some say yes, some say no.

Thing is I would quite like a night away with dh to see a comedian, and also need some botox in the next 6 weeks so thats more money again. (see I am trying to talk myself out of it)

She is qualified, but they are new in business and trying to get clients in I suppose.

but it would be so lovely to have my feet rubbed for a whole 6 sessions, imagine all that stress free time Smile

god, do it

if its reflexology or botox, have your feet rubbed!

MmeBodyInTheBasement · 11/10/2010 13:43

Go for the reflexology, you will be so relaxed you won't need the botox.

mosschops30 · 11/10/2010 13:50

lol the reflexology wont erase the lines on my forehead Grin but I like your thinking. Shall I phone them now?????

WowOoo · 11/10/2010 14:14

Phone the foot people not the botox people!

Lines on the forehead are nice. Really, they are nice!

nocake · 11/10/2010 14:32

You do know that reflexology is a load of nonsense, don't you? But 6 foot massages for £100 isn't bad so go for it.

olderandwider · 11/10/2010 16:42

The fact you can get 6 of something for £100, rather than, say, £200, is not a reason to get it.

Why not buy one session (negotiate a discount maybe?). If you like, great! You have yourself a bargain! If not, you have only lost the price of one massage, which is going to be much less than £100.
