I wouldn't buy them full stop, they're not good for children. Could you not give the baby rice cakes?

thisisyesterday · 09/10/2010 13:04

no you can do whatever you like. it's your baby.
why are you asking us???

rpickett · 09/10/2010 13:05

YANBU the low sugar ones are horrible.

violethill · 09/10/2010 13:05

what thisisyesterday says.

trice · 09/10/2010 13:06

I just used the full sugar ones. But do treat as a biscuit rather than a food.

nickelbabe · 09/10/2010 13:06

you shouldn't give children anything with low sugar, as they're likely to have saccharin in instead.

You should share the proper ones.

and while you're at it, throw me one!

They are crap. What's wrong with rice cakes or crackers?

TartyMcFarty · 09/10/2010 13:13

They are yum. The full sugar ones, I mean. My baby has 'good' stuff like baby rice cakes or toast with unsalted butter... really don't see the problem with the odd rusk or fromage frais.

sapphireblue · 09/10/2010 13:42

I'm sure I remember reading somewhere that a full sugar rusk has more sugar than a chocolate biscuit........I know which one I'd rather have!!

paisleyleaf · 09/10/2010 13:44

More than a doughnut I read somewhere.
Yes, think I'd just go for the doughnut.

sparkle12mar08 · 09/10/2010 13:45

Plain old rich tea biscuits are the best ones to buy for your baby if it's bicuits you want. Read the labels and prove me wrong!

Meglet · 09/10/2010 13:49

I wouldn't buy any rusks for a baby. I have a box in the cupboard for post vomiting bug dry snacks as the DC's are toddlers now.

nagoo · 09/10/2010 13:51

I just love rusks (for me) Grin

Don't worry everyone, it's a hypothetical baby.

OP posts:
nickelbabe · 09/10/2010 14:23

rice cakes and crackers are disgusting. [boak]

TiggyD · 09/10/2010 14:40

You got me in the mood for Rusks now. Do they still do bananana ones?

coraltoes · 09/10/2010 15:36

are people seriously asking what is wrong with rice cakes?!
WTF is right with them?!?! may aswell suck on polystyrene.

muggglewump · 09/10/2010 15:39

I love marmite rice cakes.

nickelbabe · 09/10/2010 16:37
