Reading your last post, while I still think your dp needs to discipline your dss, I also think your dss needs to get some help with his anger issues.

Is your dp the type to get defensive when dss is criticised? What you wrote in your pp makes me think he might do. If he does then it might make things a bit more difficult but can you suggest that your dp takes dss to your GP and maybe ask for some help in dealing with his anger?
