To join the protest ?

I'll certainly be there, hope there is a big turnout. It's about time we had our voices heard!

Yet another I don't want the cuts thread. Where exactly is the money that our country owes supposed to come from then? Oh I know what I will do, heres my head and there is some sand over there.

dilemma456 · 09/10/2010 07:57

"can't pay, won't pay" Trouble is that the country's current predicament is that it can't pay. However not paying is not an option. Labour spent money like water, now we've got to pay some of it back. If you were a householder and you couldn't pay, eventually you would end up bankrupt and without a home. However we do not want the country to go bankrupt, its not an option.

I will not be there.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 09/10/2010 07:59

No.

violethill · 09/10/2010 08:22

I'll be at work.

You know- that thing where you do stuff and get paid money?

salizchap · 09/10/2010 09:11

Unfortunately I'll be at work plus it's too far away and my meagre generous public sector salary doesn't cover long trips to london. But it's ok, if I lose my job the state can foot the bill of paying my benefits. I'm sure that will waste save a lot of money. Hmm

LookToWindward · 09/10/2010 09:29

I'll be at work. Earning and paying taxes instead of praying to the magic money tree of the Labour Party like this bunch of jokers.

EldonAve · 09/10/2010 09:41

Bob Crow will be speaking

Hopefully this will put most Londoners off!

Sassybeast · 09/10/2010 09:44

I'll be in London but I'll be too busy doing lunch and then the theatre dahling (also paid for by my stonking public sector salary) Toodle pip.
