My god, I nearly dropped the baby when I seen one the other day. I have shrieked on DP at least 5 times in last week! I can cope with ones smaller than a 2p but these ones he caught with pint glass and legs were still sticking out!!

beachyhead · 07/10/2010 22:33

We have two dogs who eat all our spiders... We had a big one earlier - young dog ate it, but older dog came in for support...

Handy side product of having a dog!

lola0109 · 07/10/2010 22:34

Oh and I'd have got DH out of the bath!

MoralDefective · 07/10/2010 22:34

Hair spray does the trick.....sticks their nasty, horrid legs together so they can't run at you....and kills them..Blush

androbbob · 07/10/2010 22:34

PMSL - we had one in the bathroom at the weekend when DS and I were cleaning, he picked up the cleaning cloth and it fell out into the bath. We put the bath cup over it and called for DH. He evicted it out of the bathroom window but left one leg in the bath - eugghh!

Somewhere there is a 7 legged spider running about a little slower than usual Grin

Doodleydoo · 07/10/2010 22:36

Good job am looking at a dog this weekend - well if dd likes it and it likes her its a shooin!

Cat usually quite good as is only 6months, but stupid thing ran off in fright last night and tonight won't get its furry arse off the sofa! (I kid you not and this is from the cat that caught a sodding squirrel and has had me chasing a small large mouse rat round the house earlier this afternoon after bringing it in and laughing at me whilst dh at work!)

Am sure its the same one as last night but it may have grown. And yes if a pint glass put on it, its legs would stick out it is fing ginorrrrrrmos
