To go and buy a new tv because it is raining and too windy to be outside?

Our tv is old. It is 20 inches, box type. My sister gave me her dvd player, we cannot connect it to the tv. We cannot connect the wii to this tv either (our other tv, another 15 year old box style tv broke down a few weeks ago).

So, we have a tv which is only good for watching tv on it. We dont have any additional childrens channels, and to be honest, the kids rarely watch tv anyway.

But I would really like the piece and quiet putting a film on, or letting them play wii for a bit, would offer on a rainy day.

However, we cannot really afford a tv.

You might get a second hand one cheap enough. Look around.

TV is a life saver in our house when the weather is bad

We got an awesome huuuge CRT tv from eBay for 20 quid and it's only 4 years old! Ebayebayebay!

I freecycled a lovely 32" Sony CRT TV when we upgraded to a flat screen last year. It had 3 Scart sockets so plenty to plug in video/dvd and the 3 wii sockets.

Try there Smile
