to not believe the washing liquid ads

particularly when they put a pair of filthy socks into a washing machine, folded togetherand yet they come out perfectly spotlessly white and DRY!

is it also BU to get quite irritated by the advertisers that put these ads together assuming we are all so bloody stupid.

I did notice the dry thing. maybe it is a combi washer/drier? it does irritate me too.

Yanbu. What do they take us for? Makes me grrrrrr.

(says me who has dd's white school socks soaking in a persil bio solution prior to washing at 50 deg, not folded together because to fold them together would be fucking stupid, and even then I know they will not come out completely spotless. I know this because I've done it hundreds of times before, you stupid cnuts).

But isn't it so that you see the advert, then do the washing with your (clearly inferior) washing powder and look sadly at the faded but not totally eradicated stains, and think "Oh, I must try that stuff I saw on the advert, this clearly isn't as good!"

At least this is how adverts worked on XP an absolute advertiser's dream. We had a house full of flashy products.
