eh? he's putting his arm round his wife. What's wrong with that?

SpawnChorus · 07/10/2010 11:32

Isn't it just a socially acceptable way of copping a feel of your wife's derriere while in public?

I quite enjoy it.

Well, I agree with you about men who 'guide' women (my grandma once had a boyfriend who insisted on 'helping you back to the house' when he'd given you a lift home - used to have to grit teeth).

But that pic looks more like he's just got his hand on her arse to me.

SpawnChorus · 07/10/2010 11:33

Although Cameron's hand is hovering. I think the photographer caught the millisecond before the squeeze.

BadgersArse · 07/10/2010 11:34

no and when they stick their arm out to show you " yes there is a row of seats you can move along it"

Oh no, I am with you. It drives me to distraction if dh does it. Actually make physical contact, or let me walk BY MYSELF!

VivaLeBeaver · 07/10/2010 11:36

I hate the way that Sam Cam looks up at DC in a very simpering manner. None of my business I know but IMHO she looks daft doing it in most photos.

minipie · 07/10/2010 11:37

Um, maybe it's because she just gave birth and therefore might be finding it a bit more difficult than usual to walk in 3inch heels?

NerdyFace · 07/10/2010 11:38

I think the biggest problems with that link are the fact that EVERY photo looks staged.

I thought this with the photo's of DC at his fathers funeral. I don't believe that man is capable of any real human emotion.

His "Web-Cameron" podcasts were the worst.

I honestly think he is being piloted from the inside by the shrivled up form of Margret Thatcher!

Skyrg · 07/10/2010 11:39

My boyfriend has been told in no uncertain terms that he is not allowed to do this! I think in his case it was an unconscious act, he walks a lot faster than me (little legs :( ) and was both trying to hurry me up and make sure he didn't accidentally leave me behind Grin.
It is highly irritating though.

BadgersArse · 07/10/2010 11:40

you sometimes get a panto swoosh of the hend to show you where to go too #dullards

pencilpotmonitor · 07/10/2010 11:43

My DH does this....but not on purpose. If we're in a busy shopping centre he'll grab my hand and steer me through the crowds like I'm not capable of negotiating traffic myself Hmm

I usually wrestle my hand back and remind him I'm not one of the DC's Grin

escapologist · 07/10/2010 11:44

NerdyFace: it all looks so staged, and still DC's face is always so shiny. If you're going to stage everything, then invest in some powder.

BadgersArse · 07/10/2010 11:44

oohyes shopping centre is RIFE

NerdyFace · 07/10/2010 11:46

escapologist He looks like a shiny arse with eyes stapled too it! Grin

notyummy · 07/10/2010 11:49

I don't mind an affectionate hand in the small of the back. When they grab/cup your elbow it gets a bit annoying. But I am 5 ft 10 with a long stride and pretty much exhaust most people who try and keep up, so perhaps its not an issue!!
