...losing 9 pounds.

I mean that's over half a stone fgs, but not an inch off anywhere.

I'm begining to think my scales are lying to me.

Tokyo - you look pretty slinky to me Wink.

I wish I had your problem - my bastard scales are lying and saying I've still not lost a single pound after trying bloody hard (clearly not hard enough) this week not to overreat or glug too much wine.

Put half a stone on 4 months ago (literally as I turned 40) and cannot lose it.

It depends how much you weighed to start with. Smile.

If you weighed 9 stone, then 9 lbs will be really obvious. If you weighed 19 stone, then 9lbs won't make a dent!

Thanks, you look pretty slinky to me too.

I am trying to loose a stone before getting pregnant. Gained 2.5 stone after my first, but I'm realistic, no way am I going to loose it all.

So while my extremely evil slim hubby stuffs his face with choc and biscuits every evening, I settle down with a cup of tea and and try to invent ways to torture him.

12 stone 9 pounds littlefish and I am very tall. It's all round my middle though. I've got one of those "heartattack high risk waists" the Drs are always going on about.

have you tried an tonning exercise? it might be the underlying fat has been shifted but the muscles are lazy and need retraining to hold the slimmer shape. pilaties(sp) is good for toning, without being high impact.
