This is probably realy stupid question and I am feeling a bit stressed about nothing, but we will see..
I put some random remark on my Facebook status about finding mum and baby groups boring, and among the people who commented was a girl from the place I used to work, who has a DD a couple of months older than my DS, agreeing and saying she was heading back to work soon anyway. I wrote that I had been asked to fill in there two days a week (while also freelancing) and said "so I will see you there and we can lament together". The position was only finalised yesterday. People from my old work jumped on, some pleased, one sounding a little bitchy...
I am anow worried that maybe I shouldn't have put anything on Facebook and the "lament" thing might have been taken the wrong way - I only meant lamenting being away from DS!
Am I freaking out over nothing, or have I been stupid putting anything work related on there??
Bloody Facebook...

ah don't worry about it. you could just add another comment saying how much you'll miss your baby!

cupcakesandbunting · 06/10/2010 21:12

Cannot possibly comment without examples of remarks. Need to be able judge if you're being U or not by what was said...

LittleMissHissyFit · 06/10/2010 21:14

just put a Eh? comment up and say er, I'm lamenting leaving my baby, what on earth did you think i was saying??

Put it back on them, then laugh it off!

"you thought what?" LOL

stainesmassif · 06/10/2010 21:15

don't worry about how other people interpret your words, you know what you meant. and anyone else who has gone back to work post dc knows too. there's bitchy people everywhere, ignore them!

Thanks all :)
I am just feeling a bit panicky at the thought of going back anyway, so probably latching on to anything to worry about :) Have added a side note that I was lamenintg leaving DS but looking forward to working there again...

Today's FB comment is tomorrow's nothing at all. Quit fretting, I've already forgotten about it and I'm still typing on the damn thread. x
