To not let DD watch the PopGirl channel on Sky

DD is 6 and has a sister of 2. When DD gets in from school, she has a snack, does homework and plays in the garden with her sister then they want to watch TV for a while...I let them but lately DD has begun to insist on having Pop Girl on...

I let her a few times despite reservations about those blinking Olsen twins in Two of a Kind...I also hate the cheapo manga stlyle cartoons and that pukey Sleepover Club....

well tonight I turned it to Cbeebies because the smaller DD was scared by something in the Pukey Sleepover club....older DD now thinks I am evil becasue I say we can't have it on...I don't like the fact that the Olsen twins show is based around teenage concerns such as which "hot" boy likes her etc. They were filmed when the Olsen twins were just kids...around 10 I would guess...I don't want DD watching crap like that...so...Am I BU?

YANBU the Olsen twins shows suck. But this a minefield I am not looking forward too. Good luck!

I know she's ready to move on from Cbeebies...and she is tired of TinyPop...we don't have a DVD player either...I am reluctant to put a disc in my laptop for them as the little one gets too close with her drooly little chops...and is apt to shove it when watching a particularly exciting show.

What do I do?
