MrsMadWriggle · 02/10/2010 01:08

DH checked carefully for signs of the 666 in his newborns. Should I be worried about him?

ratspeaker · 02/10/2010 01:14

MistsAndMellow · 02/10/2010 01:22

Doesn't Sam Neill engage in Friday Night activity in Omen III?

There were lots of boys called Damien around when I was younger Grin

BitOfFun · 02/10/2010 01:25

What messages would those be, Barmy? Have you been on the sauce.

CheerfulYank · 02/10/2010 01:33

I hope not. Creepy children scare the bejeezis out of me.

midlandsmumof4 · 02/10/2010 01:35

Err, this is a really old film so come on Barmy........where ARE you going?

SpeedyGonzalez · 02/10/2010 01:58

I really shouldn't have watched The Omen when I was an impressionable under 12 yo. Still creeps me out and I'm over 35.

proudnglad · 02/10/2010 08:25

Yes I definitely found a message in this film that I have adhered to ever since:

'Do NOT give birth to the son of Satan'

c0rns1lk · 02/10/2010 08:48

Do not drive into the baboon compound. Take the monkey friendly route.

Kaloki · 02/10/2010 11:43

Not to watch overrated dull "horror" movies?

southeastastra · 02/10/2010 11:51

well i enjoyed looking at all the lovely long party dresses the children wore at the party as i had one or two myself.

damien is very cute, i went to bed though before he got demonic

tethersend · 02/10/2010 12:06

The message I took from it was that I needed some more DVDs.

And that I should probably get out more.

SolidGoldBrass · 02/10/2010 12:14

A mate of mine used to say she was going to write 666 on her DS' head with a biro the morning the nit nurse was due in school - which at least shows you how long ago that was. When did you last see an actual nit nurse in a school?

LetThereBeRock · 02/10/2010 12:37

Was it the original Omen,or was it the inferior 2006 version?

tethersend · 02/10/2010 12:38

I'm going to write 667 on mine. The neighbour of the beast.

cory · 02/10/2010 12:42

I find it really heartwarming that so many Mumsnetters have managed to take away valuable messages which have clearly made a big difference to their lives from this film. proudnglad's message particularly stands out. The world will be a better place!

VictorianIce · 02/10/2010 12:54

Surely 668 would be the beast's neighbour.667 would be over the road.

VinegarTits · 02/10/2010 12:59

depends if you live on a road or in a cul-de-sac

tethersend · 02/10/2010 13:06

I'm pretty sure the beast would live in a cul-de-sac.

MissBeehiving · 02/10/2010 13:24

The Beast would definately have net curtains.
