new year? i'm considering doing the same until march at the earliest. I hate hate hate winter.

DurhamDurham · 01/10/2010 19:28

Sorry to hear that, stress and hassle seems to attract more stress and more hassle doesn't it.
When I don't know what to deal with first I write it all down. Having said that I suggested that to a friend who was going through a bad time and it made her feel worse to see it all written down.
Hope you see an end to the tunnel soon.

lisad123isgoingcrazy · 01/10/2010 19:29

i think new year will give me enough time to recover from this bug, sort out DH cancer treatment, sort out the girls special school/work/apppointments and maybe the stupid insurance company would have paid up for the written off car I need to sort this all out, and i can finally replace it! Angry

Oh God I had no idea you had that amount of stress going on Sad
I don't know what to say except you must be a really strong person to have managed so far.The sodding insurance company is piling on stress which you don't need so I hope that gets sorted soon so you can fully concentrate on whats really important, the health and well being of your family.

lisad123isgoingcrazy · 01/10/2010 19:39

dont worry about it durhamdurham, the santa comment was funny Grin

I dont even know if they are going to pay out at all and i need my car :( DD2 starts her new special school on the 11th and also has 5 weeks of speech to go to, plus DH appointments.

Will the local authority not consider providing taxi/mini bus for you DD2? Not ideal if you want to take her yourself but might relieve that part of the stress?
Some of the families I visit have children at special school and most have school transport provided. I'm a Benefits Advisor for a charity in Gateshead, it might be different in other placesbut worth looking into.

Shes only 3, so not really an option :( thank though
