To be really looking forward to this weekend because....

There are NO birthday parties.

We've been to 5 over 3 weekends. I am looking forward to a proper Sunday roast, a whole weekend of not having to locate the bl**dy sellotape, a long swim with DD, some unrushed market shopping and leisurely breakfasts with no rush to get to a party for 10am on a Sunday.

My dd1 is going to an allnighter tonight! - and I am having the birthday girls' brother to stay here so he doesn't have to put up with 12 pre-pubescent girls!

I wish there were no parties this weekend, and why do they always have to clash with something?
