That MrK could have made some dinner for me?

I am a SAHM and freely admit to sitting on my arse being atiny bit lazy. Generally I make the dinner, lunches, breakfasts, iron, make beds etc. Yesterday I had to get up at 3am and go to England. Before I went, I put MrK's porridge in the microwave ready to turn on, set the coffee machine ready for him, made and packed his and DD's lunch. I left home at 3.30 and caught the 06.00 ferry. After a hugely stressful day in England, I got home around 20.00 to find him and DD hungry. We have a cupboard full of beans and soup, a freezer full of meat and bread and eggs etc. I left it about 5 minutes after i'd got home to ask what he had made me for my dinner. He looked blank and said he thought I would eat on the ferry.
AIBU to think it wouldn't have killed him to make me even a sandwich. As it was, I ate four crumpets that I'd got from Tesco and I've just eaten another four. Only four more to go and no bugger other than me gets anyGrin

so they were hungry - does that mean they hadn't eaten either? He was waiting for you to get home to cook?

And he didn't think to have something ready for you after such a long day?

Is he always so thoughtless or does he just feel that cooking is your job?

Mr K obviously went to school with Mr N.

Hide any crumpets you cant eat Wink

Kill him for daring to think that you might have eaten on the ferry!

They had both had egg on toast for dinner then went to the chip shop for a portion of fries. MrK (can't bring myself to say DH) can cook and often does at the weekend, I was just super pissed off that he didn't think about me.
I've just had another two crumpets with some cheddar that I brought back.

I now want some crumpets! Envy

I feel your pain! I was stuck in traffic for 2 hours last night. Got in at 7 to find Mr P asleep on the sofa! Then he asked what was for dinner Hmm

I've just polished the rest of. A record 12 eaten in less than 12 hours. Luckily Delhaize sells them so DD can have some. H can whistle.
