I was extremely ill for a few weeks, no idea what i had exactly, acid reflux, throwing up extremely lathargic and so on, docs just gave me paracetamol, i hardly slept through all this,

as soon as i was well it was back to work at the family pub and so me and dp can work we stay there overnight as dcs asleep upstais, the dcs have had throat infections and coughs so awake alot and finally that settles and i am finally home

AND dp has snored for the past 3 nights SO SOOOOO LOUDLY it wakes me everytime he starts. And if hes snoring before i go to bed i may aswell not bother.

i have been with him 5 yrs and this has suddenly started

right now he is in bed and i can hear him, snoring, several rooms away, and im downstairs.

i havent had more than 3hrs solid sleep in nearly a month.

i want to go put a pillow over his face, AIBU?

is he overweight?

is the snoring a new thing?

BitOfFun · 30/09/2010 23:37

Plug your ears up with tissues. Or put a radio on low.

Meglet · 30/09/2010 23:38

Probably best not to smother him.

Bit weird that it's jsut started, does he have a sinus infection / overweight / drunk etc?

My XP snored like that, I totally understand how pissed off you must be.

MoralDefective · 30/09/2010 23:38

Kill him ........it's the only way.....

JjandtheBeanlovesUnicorns · 30/09/2010 23:39

We got those nose things. Like plasters which you put over the (for lack of the real word) "bone" part of the nose. Like people wear on TV when they've been punched in the face. He wore them every night, and they actually really helped.

JjandtheBeanlovesUnicorns · 01/10/2010 00:24

hes stopped.....

maybe one of the dcs saved me a job, this is the first time hes stopped in days Grin

thanks for the tip about the plaster things, if he starts again ill be walking to asda to find some.

Maybe you have gall stones ? I'd ask to be checked if I were you

ratspeaker · 01/10/2010 08:37

I was thinking gall stones too.
Is there a family history?

And one of theose big anti snore pillows, the one with the dip in the middle
That would fit over his face more easily

just joking
my sympathies. I too suffer from snorers ( the cat has now joined DH )

JjandtheBeanlovesUnicorns · 01/10/2010 12:09

the minute i went to bed he started snoring again... i shouted alot and he stopped Confused

i think he is doing it on purpose Wink
