To play DS1s flute?

It's sitting here on the table in front of me, looking lonely. I haven't played flute for [eeek] over 25 years and even then I only learnt for 2-3 years.

problems are that 1) i can no longer read music 2) the sound of the flute makes the dog bark.

I wouldn't be able to resist, but I once tried a flute and couldn't get it tomake a sound. You obviously have a more skillful blowing technique than I.
I gave up the violin 15 years ago and I still get pangs of desire whenever I see one. I'm sure i can rememeber the odd ditty.

Oooh, do it!

I have never been able to play any instrument and have never been able to read music however my DC plays the trumpet.

I gave it a blast - am obviously no good but it made my cats bugger off for the day.

do it! both my ds's play the flute and I often steaal theres to have a little go! In fact DS2 has my old flute so a real trip down memory lane, I chose not to steal DS1's as his is open holed, solid silver and he makes it sound so much better than I do!!

I confess I bought a cheap guitar so I could play along with DD when she practises. Tis most excellent fun.

I did i have a quick blow when he brought it home last night. I was rather pleased that i got a beautiful clear note out of it far superior to the breathy whisper DS managed :o
