..slapping 'out of stock' on them online? Everything I want is out of stock. Come off it, it's a new bloody catalogue.

I had this earlier, it may say out of stock but if you go into the reserve instore bit, your chosen store may still have stock :)

I suppose so I need to buy it online though, so the kids don't see me picking it up. Harrumph!

i had this problem on the first day the promotion began! i have 3dcs and was going to buy them each a trike/bike/scooter on the 3for2 but all of them were out of stock :(

still got them some good presents for £40 though, so am pleased with that :)

This happened to me, I had to reserve and pick up from the store closest with stock. It's a bit annoying but saves the rip off £6 delivery charge!!

It's EVERYTHING I want, craft stuff, transformers, robotty thing... list goes on.
Their delivery charge is extreme.
They should rename it Arrrrrrrrrgos.

Club Penguin gift membership cards are on 3 for 2 at Argos.I've never seen them reduced before so that's good.

I agree - same thing happened to me. Thought I could get a few presents but nothing in stock. Huge queue though, meaning I couldn't be bothered waiting to check if they had them in other local stores...

Bikes arent even included in the offer which i complained about but scooters and trikes are.

I should add they said bikes was in a different section to the toys section (outdoor toys) and when i said but the scooters and trikes are in same section and it says 3 for 2 on all toys they couldnt answer me

To be fair the catalogues are produced months in advance - they may have some delays from their suppliers in getting the stock in, or the demand has been underestimated.
But I agree it is still annoying!

My other bug is some of the reserve and pick ups are available from Wednesday the promotion ends on Tuesday!
