My friend lives in a house with a horseshoe drive.
It's about half a mile from a university, and each September the students arrive en masse and cause traffic chaos.
On Friday morning, several moms from school had been invited to hers for Macmillan coffee.
I was fourth to arrive and pulled on drive behind 3 friends' cars (there was also 2 family cars on the drive as well).
As I got out my car someone pulled up and parked across what is the designated exit of the drive. So now we would do some serious manouvering and reversing to get off the drive. (If she hadn't parked there, there would have been plenty of room for any of us, in any order to get off, except the 2 family cars).
I called to her and said that she was causing an inconvenience and shouldn't be parking across a dropped kerb.
I'll bet you can guess her reponse as she walked off.
So, AIBU to think it's not ok to block a drive? I think she'd deemd it ok as there was another access point.
