Horrible choreographer on X Factor

I know I am being U for watching X Factor but...

They've started a dance section at bootcamp where a bitchy choreographer tries to get them to do high energy dance routines. Some people are overweight and struggled to keep up, and whilst one poor woman was out of breath on a chair he was going "the ones who can't dance had better be good singers or there is no place for them here"

erm, I thought it was a singing contest? Is this another way of weeding out the "fatties" so that they don't put us off our popcorn or am I being touchy? It just feels a bit like lol at the fatties Hmm

I'm appalled that he is wearing a hoody without something underneath! He will catch his death!!

Oh and he is a knobhead.

Alouiseg · 25/09/2010 20:14

I love him! He is a phenomenal dancer and talented choreographer.

This isn't singstar, they need to learn how to move and they need to learn to do what they're told.

bigchris · 25/09/2010 20:15

He always wears that hoody
it's his thing dontcga know?!

usualsuspect · 25/09/2010 20:16

Well Michelle McManus won pop idle..wonder what ever became of her

wigglesrock · 25/09/2010 20:17

I love Brian, he's one of the main reasons I stick with the X Factor!!!

cupcakesandbunting · 25/09/2010 20:17

I think he's an awful, superficial little tosser.

Was the idle intentional or freudian, Usualsusowct? Grin

usualsuspect · 25/09/2010 20:21

probably freudian Grin

Oh dear I do apologise for my terrible mistyping of your name. These iPhones are intended for people with fingers that don't resemble sausages, clearly.

pop idle Grin

I've been ranting and raving about Brian to poor DH for the last hour. I hate the flippin' hoody that he never takes off (or zips up).

It seemed like a ridiculous task but I think it was just to show if they could get out of their comfort zone and perform. I loved the fat woman who gave it an enthusiastic go :)

AgentProvocateur · 25/09/2010 21:30

usualsuspect you're obviously not Scottish, or you'd be sick of the sound of Michelle McManus - singing for the Pope, presenting a tea-time TV programme, and DJing on local radio! Wink

usualsuspect · 25/09/2010 21:33

oh thats were she was banished to then Grin

Hedgeblunder · 25/09/2010 21:37

It's sooo boring when they just stand there crooning in a glittery frock though!
Btw-I love xfactor, I sit by myself and eat it with kettle chips

yummypopcorn · 25/09/2010 21:44

Brian is amazing. Did a workshop with him many moons ago and that guy ROCKS!!

LetThereBeRock · 25/09/2010 21:49

Michelle McManus co-presents a,rather crappy,'lifestyle' show on Scottish tv.

nancydrewrocked · 25/09/2010 21:51

He's not being bitchy - jeez you're sensitive if you think he is being horrid.

He was saying that they needed presence rather than an ability to dance and I thought he was pretty fair with the woman who was sitting down - he explained to the Judges that she had arthritis.

oneofthosedays · 25/09/2010 21:52

I said to DH that he must have to glue the hood to his head to keep the fecker on!

FlyingFig · 25/09/2010 22:01

Brian has a point - I've never seen Beyonce dance like my dad at a disco; nor Shakira side-stepping like my nana at the local cèilidh...

It's the X-Factor, not Pimp My Karaoke Grin

Animation · 25/09/2010 22:47

I don't know how the hoodie manages to stay up on his head without it zipped up and all.

Fluffypoms · 25/09/2010 22:50

Yabu.. I thinks brian is great

lottiejenkins · 25/09/2010 22:50

I think he looks like ET with his hoodie on!!

LauraNorder · 25/09/2010 22:51

Brian - he's fabulous darrhhhhling! I love him, v talented! DH hates him!

Anenome · 25/09/2010 23:11

Why is watching X Factor unreasonable? There are some great singers! But yes..YABU about the choreographer...those peope want to be famous and profesional singers, it takes a lot of stamina to sing in concert...if they're heaving and panting after one little dance they don't have the strength to make it.

freyski · 25/09/2010 23:33

I was wondering how his hood stayed on his head as well. Do you think he blue tac's it there?
