D Mil - met him years back and he was pretty good looking. I think he's deliberately tried to go for a nerd look to give himself some credibility. But he's still not bad.

As for the comparison with Ken Clarke, well Ken is the acceptable face of Conservatism isn't he, so not wholly unappealing... even Molesworth! Nick Griffin on the other hand, nothing could be more offputting.
