Ewwwwwww embarrassing bodies is much too gross. Surely there should be a limit? All that goo and pus and seeing in close detail an operation on his anus? NOT NICE. Ok IABU because I have a remote control and can use it but it is strangely compulsive.

I hid behind my hands. They do warn about the nature of things you may see at the start of the programme but still.. BLEURGH. YANBU

Well yeah I admit it is all my fault, I do have the remote control after all. I have seen the programme before but it was never quite that graphic! And once you start watching it is "normal" to want to see that the nice people get better by the end. Sort of. Like the nice little girl who was on whose nits they sorted out and she was much happier. IABU I know but think C4 are pushing the lets deal with taboo a bit far!!

I totally agree Hecate! I just don't understand why you'd want to go on tv talking about and showing your scabby fanjo/ hairy bum/ massive piles. Theres a reason gp consultations are confidential! I wonder if the exhibitionists people who go on tell people they are going to be on tv? "Watch c4 tonight, I'm on talking about my smelly fanjo!"

But they're getting top notch care for free aren't they.

If you're too embarassed to got to GP it's very weird to bare all on national TV. But they get the job done don't they so it usually ends well.
Me I'd rather suffer in mortified silence than do that!!

I like that you get to look up arses/under flaps/into crevices etc. At least it's up front about what it is. Most programmes show you a load of arse yet masquerade as talent shows/documentaries/political debates etc, which is a lot worse.

I misread the title as 'AIBU to not want to see someone's bum on channel 4' and thought, yes, YABU, I love to see bums on tv. But not up someone's bum, urgh!

I love this show. Love it.

It's great because it gets people talking about fanjo flaps and wonky willies etc etc. It also gets people to the doctors if they've got a similar problem.

However, I will admit I'm a bit weird - I really wish I'd been a doctor as I love a bit of this.
