pop it in a carrier bag and loop it around their windscreen wipers?

The family who live over the road from us are a bit of a nightmare. Nothing nasty, just inconsiderate stuff for example, we live on an old, narrow street and they will park their car on the pavement so you have to walk around it with your buggy and risk getting killed. They let their bear of a dog howl outside until 10pm a lot of nights and their two teenagers have little parties on their front doorstep (yeah, I know Hmm whilst they are up at the pub getting sloshed. Run-of-the-mill stuff, no problem really...

But last night they put their recycling out (Mainly beer cans Grin) and there were far too many things in the box (you're supposed to bag up excess recycling) and as it was windy, all the cans were blowing round the street making a right racket. As they live in the back of the house, it wouldn't bother them but it bothered me so I went outside, gathered all of the wayward cans up, popped them in a sainsbury's bag and looped the handles around their windscreen wiper blade.

I know it's trivial but DH was a bit Hmm about me doing it. I suppose I wanted them to know that someone else had had to go out and collect their rubbish up, which they wouldn;t have done if I'd simply popped it back into the recycling box IYSWIM? Confused

Do it! I am always picking up the rubbisah of my neighbours. They don't recycle but put food waste and recyclables into a black bin back which they then put out on the wrong day and it gets ripped to bits by cats.

Eugh the dirty feckers.

Speaking of which, at the bottom of the street, one of the residents has put out a huge television box to be collected. Since the collection was monday and it's now thursday, I think it's safe to assume the binmen aren't taking it. Take it to the tip, you scrotes.
